Lecture Information: ☆Time: 9:30am June 19th ☆Room: 1613 ☆Organizer: the Department of Educational Psychology Presenter: Duanli Yan Duanli Yan, PhD, is a Director of Data Analysis and Computational Research in the research and development division in ETS. Dr. Yan is also an adjunct professor at Rutgers University, the State University of New Jersey, and at Fordham University. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychometrics from Fordham University, dual Maters from Penn State University in Statistics and Operations Research. During her tenure at ETS, Dr. Yan was the statistical coordinator for the EXADEP™ test, and the TOEIC® Institutional programs, a Development Scientist for innovative research applications and a Psychometrician for several operational programs. Dr. Yan’s current resposibilities include automated scoring engines upgrade evaluations and scoring, innovative research and applications to support ETS missions. Host: Chanjin Zheng Dr. Chanjin Zheng is an Associate Researcher in the Department of Educational Psychology. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research interests include education and psychometrics. Specific research topics include modeling of modern education and psychometric techniques, parameter estimation, and applications in computerized adaptive tests.
