On October 28, the second structural equation mode (SEM) workshop of the DEP was successfully completed. The three-day workshop attracted participants from all over the country.

On the basis of the previous workshop, the second one had been adjusted and improved. This training was including the path model (mediation and regulation effect), first-order and high-order confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), regulation and mediation effect in SEM, measurement equivalence and multi-group comparison model, Multiple quality and multiple methods SEM and its operation in Mplus.

Through the lectures with classroom exercises, students could practice after learning, that helped them effectively master the relevant data analysis methods.

The DEP will continue to provide professional training in statistical model analysis methods. It is hoped that through this kind of training, the knowledge and skills of statistical analysis of education will be popularized for educators, and the current educational science research will be changed to play a positive role in the development of educational science.
