In the afternoon of September 30, at the invitation of Shanghai General Plan Training Co., Ltd., the faculty team of the DEP came to the headquarters of General Plan to discuss with the R & D staff. The faculty team gave professional opinions and suggestions on the newly introduced CAT4 test.

First, Daping Yang, the Chairman of General Plan introduced the company's development to the participants. General Plan provides professional consulting, training and evaluation service in the field of basic education in China, mainly including the overall improvement of education development, the professional development and promotion programs for school teachers and principals, the student college entrance examination training program, and the integrated practice curriculum based on curriculum standards.

The Chairman Assistant and the Chief Data Officer Ding Yi introduced the CAT4 cognitive test to the participants. CAT4 is a widely used test for children's cognitive abilities in the United Kingdom. It mainly tests students' text, graphics, numbers and spatial abilities. General Plan is currently developing a test project for primary and secondary schools in China based on the CAT4 test.

Next, the participants discussed how to implement the CAT4 test, and whether the CAT4 test is feasible in China. The DEP Faculty team provided their opinions on this.

At the end of the seminar, the Chairman Daping Yang spoke highly of the opinions and suggestions of the DEP Faculty team and reached a consensus on future cooperation and exchanges between the two parties.
